Day 2 – Floor Framing Progress

Day 2

Installation by C & G Construction and Oceansafe of the treated lumber I-Joists and plywood subfloor will be completed today. Lumber Products, Snaveley Forest Products, and Trussway did a great job with our order and the foundation of our home is now sturdy and durable to build upon. We also started to lay our base track for the panels. You will notice that throughout the build we use light gauge metals for track, fascia, and flashings. These pieces are produced by Advanced Steel Homes which we use on all of our Gulf Coast jobs as well as on our international jobs being shipped out of the Port of New Orleans.
